Kitting Bag Carousel

425 Fab Division was tasked with the design, fabrication, paint, and delivery of a kitting bag carousel for productivity improvement for an automotive company. This carousel can house up to four different operators a at a time. This was discussed and the customer driven ideas were implemented. We ensured that it would be a suitable height for the average employee. It rotates into individual slots so that it can be moved simply by pushing it and will lock in to a designated stopping point. There are no levers, buttons, or pulleys used to operate it. This customer was focused on the ideas of Lean Manufacturing and 6 Sigma, thus we worked closely with them to ensure that this design met all of their needs and desires.
