Jet Engine Lift/Hoist/Crane

Our Heavy Duty Engine Lift has been designed for mechanics that don’t believe it’s a good idea to remove engines on Million Dollar aircraft with a forklift.

This versatile Heavy Duty Hydraulic Jet Engine Crane / Lift / Hoist can fit a wide variety of lifting needs. 425 Manufacturing is a custom engineering and fabrication company. If this style of our lift doesn’t fit you exact needs, feel free to talk to us about tweaking a lift for yours specific application.

 

Our lift is basically a standard engine lift on steroids. Currently this revision of our lift will reach 170″ height with a maximum rated weight of 2,000 lbs. ( Note: this model was tested at 3,000 lbs / 150% of the rated weight ).

Including: Heavy duty brake, precision needle valve for fine adjustment during lowering of lift, movable push bar for transport, and D-Ring tie down shackles for transport.

 

Note: this crane meets or exceeds ASME PASE standards, which require design and build to 150% of rated capacity and are ANSI Z.535 compliant.

Ram Stop for Lift

After being extensively field tested, our customers have advised us that they wanted the availability to purchase ram stops for specific applications. A hydraulic ram style lift can lose pressure quickly if a hose is worn or fittings bursts. A ram stop is a solid stop that will keep the ram from coming down in the event of a catastrophic failure.

Our customers have found when working on jet engines at full height, they typically find that one specific length ram stop can be the difference between the engine getting to close to the ground in the case of a catastrophic event.

Also, many of our customers will leave an engine on the stand while working throughout the day. This is where a 6″ or 12″ ram stops are useful. Even if the pressure bleeds off over a 24 hour period the ram stop will keep the engine from dropping.
